Shibumi Shawl by Eri Shimizu Yarn Kit

    

The Shibumi Shawl designed by Eri Shimizu is knit in different rib stitches. Diagonal lines are added with wrap stitches. For an extra flair you can also add fringing to your shawl. 

SIZE: Length : 176cm / 69 1/4", Width : 50cms / 19 3/4"

YARN: 3 x 100g skeins of Nomad Noos 'Sheep goes bananas' (50% wool, 50% banana fibre), 350 metres / 382 yards shown in the colour Tinsel Tinsel.

NEEDLES: 4.5mm / US 7 circular needles, 80cms / 32" or longer.

GAUGE: 18 sts and 20 rows =10cm x 10cm / 4" x 4" in 2 x 2 rib (k2,p2)

NOTIONS: stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle.
